Live in Concert: Taylor Swift's The 1989 World Tour

A little while back I did a post about The 1989 World Tour and how amazing it was and how you could not miss it (you can read that post here). Since then, I have been lucky enough to experience the tour first hand at the June 12th Philadelphia show. I have been a huge Taylor Swift fan for the past 8 years and have seen her in concert before so I was so excited to get to see The 1989 World Tour!

The concert opened with Shawn Mendes and Vance Joy. I saw Shawn Mendes live at the 2014 Jingle Ball and I was excited to see him again. I am currently obsessed with his single 'Stitches'! Vance Joy blew up after his hit song 'Riptide'. Before the show, I liked him but did not listen to his music a ton. After seeing him live I went home and got his album on iTunes and have been loving it. He is such a talented musician and seeing him live was amazing! If you go to some of the upcoming tour dates, Taylor's besties HAIM will also be added as an opening act for a selected few.

Taylor Swift opened with 'Welcome To New York', a song from her newest album 1989. The setlist for this tour is amazing because Taylor took into account what the fans wanted to hear and is playing 3 songs from previous albums and 15 songs from 1989. The tour is so fun to watch with fashionable outfit changes and dance-worthy music. An added bonus was that when walking into the stadium everyone was handed white, plastic bracelets. These bracelets lit up and changed colors to the beat of whatever song Taylor was performing. I thought the bracelets were such a good idea and added a lot to the concert! It was so pretty to watch the whole stadium light up at once and it made for some pretty awesome photos.

Halfway through the show, Taylor brought out surprise guest Echosmith to sing their hit song 'Cool Kids'. After the crowd thought they had seen it all and that it could not get any better, Taylor brought out Cara Delevigne and Mariska Hargitay to strut the runway while she performed 'Style'. Taylor has been bringing special guest to surprise the audience since she first started touring and I think this so awesome and makes going to Taylor's shows even more exciting!

The 1989 World Tour was such an amazing experience. I had the time of my life dancing away to some of my favorite music! The tour is still hapeningso you have plenty of time to still get tickets and plan a trip to see Taylor while she is on tour! From the opening acts to the glow up bracelets to Taylor's dancing, everything about this concert was perfect! I am so happy I got to attend and want to thank Taylor for always putting on such a wonderful show!
